Hey, you guys! Man, only Monday and this week is already shaping up nicely. We have another comic coming out, St. Patrick’s Day is right around the corner, and as if the thought of enjoying a few cold drinks on St Patty’s Day was not enough, I think I have finally talked myself into doing the Tough Mudder race this summer. As some of you may know the Tough Mudder is a 10+ mile running event that has insanely ridiculous obstacle throughout the course. Which just sounds horrible, and if you can believe it, the race actually looks twice as bad if you check out the website. With all that in mind though, I still have this horrible need to run this race. I don’t know why I need to do this but it just needs to happen. It must be from all the Double Dare I watched as a kid and even then I knew would get through the obstacle course and yank that orange flag out of that huge snotty nose. Now it’s the time to prove that I still have some athletic skills and prove myself all over again as an adult.

Now I don’t know if any of you are as crazy as I am about the Tough Mudder, but if you are, come on down to the race. It is a team race and it would be awesome to have any of you as part of my team and doing the race as a Side Quest Comic Family. As we run through the flaming pits together we can pretend that we are lost in Bowser’s castle, looking for that tramp, Princess Peach.  If my brother Andy is reading this out there you better be at my side. We have talked about ruling Family Double Dare for years, and now is our chance. Andy, you always told me how great you would be on the tricycle, looks like it is time to prove it Bro. So, get ready Player 2.

That’s enough about the race for now, we can talk about it more in the weeks to come. Because right now it is time for us to unleash the new comic. It feels great getting the new comics out and we hope you guys have enjoyed the ones so far this year.  Keep reading because we are changing things up a little this year and trying more of a big story kind of idea. So, you won’t want to miss an issue. Until the next one…I’ll take the physical challenge.
